SiGMA CIS - UKRAINE
Ukraine is open for business after getting the long-awaited green light to kickstart a gaming market that had been lingering in the shadows of a 10 year ban. SiGMA CIS will launch its first show in the Ukraine in June 2022, following the country’s milestone decision to liberalise regulations in 2020.
The networking expo will explore the growing sports betting and gaming opportunities in the region, bringing local and international operators, affiliates, and suppliers together for a supershow combining complementary verticals in emerging tech, marketing affiliation and gaming. Expect premier networking, big names on the conference circuit, and a top notch expo floor showcasing products tailored to this nascent marketplace.
WHY UKRAINE?
There has never been a better time to pursue business opportunities in the CIS region, with a business friendly setup making waves in international circles after online and landbased operations became legal in 2020.
Ukraine issued their first licence to an online casino operator in February 2021, a powerful signal to both domestic and foreign investors that the gambling and entertainment industry is ripe for the picking.
In line with responsible gambing commitments, Ukrainian gambling regulator Krail also launched a register of excluded players – a topic attendees can expect to see much discussed during the summit. We’ll also be exploring opportunities outside of Ukraine. From Georgia to the Baltics, the CIS region is on track to becoming a formidable rival to more established gaming hubs across Europe – and a solid player on the global stage.
