Please join the GBA Mining & Cryptocurrency Working Group on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 3:00 to 4:00 PM (New York) as we discuss cryptocurrency, wallets, exchanges, rules, regulations, and government policies. Each month we discuss topics including:

+ What is the state of cryptocurrency adoption?
+ What is going on in the crypto markets?
+ How can individuals benefit from cryptocurrency use, saving, and investing?
+ What are the legal and regulatory news and issues involving cryptocurrency?
+ What is the impact of cryptocurrency adoption on governments?

This month’s speakers include:

  • Hemal Shah – Mr. Shah is a seasoned technology and business strategy executive working for major enterprises like Ripple and Oracle. He will be speaking about stablecoins, banking, and regulation.
  • Mark Montoya is the GBA Chief Data Officer with hands-on experience as a business analyst for a U.S. government regulator in the banking sector. He is the primary author of “The impact of Cryptocurrency Adoption on Government and is a formally trained cybersecurity professional.
  • Darrell Hubbard is the founding member of the Digital Currency Monetary Authority. He will be sharing information on their design of Unicoin a 3-dimensional store of value protocol with both electronic cash and physical cash cryptographic solutions.
